Well, it did give us right-wing Barney Fife Loren Culp as the GOP nominee

for governor. That guy lost by over 500K votes by the way, yet in Trumpian fashion has refused to concede. Washington has had some excellent Republican public servants like Dan Evans, Slade Gorton, John Spellman, Rod McKenna, Sam Reed and current Secretary of State Kim Wyman. They can, and should have, done better than Culp.

We also had two Democrats running for Lt. Governor this year. I'm not sold on the top two approach yet.
